A beautiful antique pine Scottish dresser, circa 1880, with glazed upper section. The base has two 4 7/8” deep drawers side by side. Below are two central drawers 9” and 10 5/8” deep, flanked by two cupboards, with full width shelves. The doors having arched panels and lock and key fastening. The dresser top has two shelves and the cupboard base, 10 5/8” deep and enclosed by ornate arched doors, one pane replaced. The upper section and base have split turnings added by way of decoration to the carcase sides. A lovely old dresser, with useful combination of drawers and cupboard area.
